Republicpunk

Before coming to Cincinnati I had never played the Cyberpunk 2020 and in fact had not really read any of the books of that genre. Aside from suffering from terrible game balance and editing, the setting was interesting and the rules system was pretty simple. Well eventually I had to try my hand at running a game, but I did not want to mess up any existing timelines that had been put in place before, so I moved by game to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and South America. This was very fertile ground that let me work less with the machine and more of the inhuman nature of this modern world.

Of course, since it was not meant to be completely depressing the players worked on an “Action Team” for Miltech providing service, support, extraction, infiltration, and other benefits for those that could pay. It was a very interesting run and the campaign has been put on the back bench to be used in one-shots when we have some spare time.
